udimishe amaniThe Dumisha Amani project envisions peaceful resolution of political and social conflicts among communities in Laikipia West Sub County. Our goal is to foster a culture of peace by engaging pupils, students, and youth in peace-building activities within their schools and communities. Through our efforts, we aim to empower individuals and inspire communities to adopt peaceful methods for resolving conflicts.

  • Engaging Students in Peace Building: We believe in the power of education to create a more peaceful society. By actively involving pupils and students in peace-building activities within their schools, we equip them with the skills, values, and mindset needed to promote harmony, understanding, and conflict resolution.
  • Empowering Youth as Agents of Change: Youth are the driving force behind positive transformations. Through our project, we engage and empower young individuals to actively participate in peace-building activities within their communities. By providing them with tools, resources, and platforms, we enable them to become influential agents of change, fostering peaceful coexistence and social harmony.
  • Promoting Peaceful Conflict Resolution: Our aim is to inspire communities in Laikipia West Sub County to adopt peaceful methods of resolving political and social conflicts. Through awareness campaigns, workshops, and community dialogues, we foster understanding, empathy, and dialogue as essential tools for peaceful conflict resolution.
