Among the facilitators were Mr. Wanjala of St. Martin, Mrs. Wangechi, an advocate of the high court, Mrs. Rugu,t  representing the director of public prosecutions, Mr. Mwangi , the children officer of Laikipia West and Hon. Kassan, the chief magistrate.

Mediation is now a recognized form of conflict resolution as provided for in the Constitution of Kenya, Among the topics taught were mediation, bails and bonds, plea bargain and family mediation. The facilitators also responded to questions by the chiefs. The chiefs appreciated the event since they gained an insight on how to handle matters that require their attention. They also proposed to have similar trainings to gain more insights.

On June 27, a similar training was done to the chiefs of Nyandarua County with the same facilitators.
